My move to the Twin Cities in 2019 was the first time for me to put down roots outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. I have been in working in Management and Administration for many years, and operate our front office through a lens of servant leadership. My master's thesis and research focuses on the role of forgiveness in our health and wellbeing. I have enjoyed giving guest lectures and conference presentations over the last several years about the power of compassion and forgiveness to cultivate positive change in our lives.
In my off time, I enjoy nature, photography, and discovering new street art. One of my photos was selected for National Geographic's Daily Dozen in 2009. More recently two of my photos from Standing Rock were published in a feature on musician, Aliza Hava, in International Galerie's HOPE & PEACE magazine. I aim to explore someplace new at least once a month, and would be happy to hear your suggestions!

I am excited to be back in Minnesota where I completed my undergrad degree at Carleton College in 2015. I grew up in Colorado but spent the last five years in Montreal, Canada where I studied Russian literature and culture at McGill University. My passions are languages and culture so I feel right at home in FRIT/GNSD.
I love reading, especially when I can read something other than board books about trucks. My favorite Minnesota activities are hiking, biking, and the State Fair.

I moved to Minneapolis, MN from California when I was five and I have considered the Twin Cities home for many years. I did my undergraduate at the UMN Twin Cities campus, receiving a BA in Psychology with a minor in American Indian Studies in 2006. My professional career at the University of MN started in 2008 and has included a wealth of financial administrative positions in a multitude of departments. I am extremely happy to be back in CLA and in the Departments of FRIT and GNSD.
In my free time, I am an avid reader, with a preference for classic literature and I am a novice runner. Also, I enjoy being a parent to one amazing teenager.

I moved to Minnesota in 2022 to start my PhD at UMN, studying music composition. Prior to then, I spent my life in Ohio teaching and studying music and arts administration. My research/creative focus is on creating new music literature for pre-professional students- developing opportunities for young musicians to experiment with relationality and extended techniques.
In my free time, I enjoy composing, performing, and improvising experimental and electronic music, as well exploring the greater Twin Cities area.

Outside of school, I run the Minneapolis Tamagotchi Club, I do old lady crafts like knitting and bird watching. I'm a big fan of meditation and yoga, but my favorite things to do are to eat good food and snuggle with my Pomeranian, Beanie!
